InterClub Comp 2015
Bushido Wilmslow was joined by friends from Bushido Barnoldswick and Ellesmere Port for the InterClub Comp which was a great success. All involved gained valuable experience which some will take with them to the British National Championships this year! An enjoyable day and some great sportsmanship!
So our Team entered the 2014 Bushido International Championships and came home with 1 Gold, 6 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals!! plus a great honour our Student Dary McNamara also recieved the Sensei Charles Allmark Memorial Award for the most outstanding student on the day!! A great result indeed for Wilmslow – WELL DONE to all those who took part!!

Wimslow InterClub Comp March 2014
A great time was had by all at the Wilmslow Interclub comp joined by Sensei’s and friends from Barnoldswick, Colne and Ellesmere Port. All the students and officials gained valuable experience in preparation for the National Championships on the 5th April – Good Luck everyone!
Club Charity Event in aid of Millie’s Trust
We’re pleased to say our Charity Event in aid of Millie’s Trust was a great success! Much fun was had by all – plenty of cakes to buy and some fabulous cakes entered for the ‘Great Bushido Bake off’! The Sponsored Throw was amazing – all our students did so well doing the throws and taking the throws – we even had some of our Juniors achieving 200 throws!! Our surprise guest Giraffe from Millie’s Trust was very well received and it was lovely to welcome Joanne and Dan from Millie’s Trust to our Club. It was truly a great afternoon with great results and we raised over £1000 in 2 ½ hours! Well done everyone!!
British National Championships 2013
6th April 2013 – Walsall, Birmingham
Well done to our Champs – Robert, Benjamin & Ellie- who competed for their first time in the British Championships! They did extremely well, upheld a great sporting attitude and showed fantastic Etiquette which was commented on by some of our Senior Sensei’s and of course not forgetting great techniques which were reflected in the Medals they achieved!
